Explore how biking is transforming Quebec!

The Observatoire du vélo gathers a variety of scientific data to help decisionmakers, inform the general public and inspire the transition to a more active and sustainable future. Health, environment, economy: learn more about all the benefits of biking for the society and yourself.

To understand, convince and act collectively!

Why create the Observatoire du vélo?

Aiming to inform the population, media and decisionmakers on the great modal shift towards biking, the Observatoire du vélo is a hub of verified data, made accessible and adapted to Quebec’s, Canada’s and North America’s situation. Organized around 4 themes, this data presents the current state of biking in Quebec and explores its benefits on individual and collective health, environment and economy.

The Observatoire will evolve over time, regularly integrating new scientific content. Progressively, new categories and topics will complement the platform in the upcoming months and years.
